Welcome to our Careers and World of Work Pages

Careers | Parents/Carers

Dear Parents/Carers, we need your help.

Do you work for a company that could offer a work experience placement to a Langley Academy student, even if it isn’t suitable for your own son or daughter?
Are you able to give some of your time to talk about what you do, the demands of working life and any tips that will help our students along their way? We currently run a programme of guest speakers from business giving an insight into career areas ranging from the motor industry, IT to construction, and we would like to expand this in order to give our students as broad a horizon as possible.

If you are able to help with either of the above, please complete an Opportunities Form and return it to Ruth Turner at the academy.
