Duke of Edinburgh's Award

TLA DofE Logo idea (002)At The Langley Academy, we provide the opportunity for students to work towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award starting at Bronze and progressing onto Silver and Gold level. All levels are highly recognised by universities and employers, as the Award gives a clear indication of a student’s skill set, motivation and commitment.

2018 08 25 20.06.06

The Award is not part of the routine taught curriculum and is therefore open to all students to apply for as an enrichment activity.  We routinely have more students wishing to take part in the Award programme than we can support with our current staffing levels, so entry is very competitive.
