Year 8 Shine in a Busy and Successful Term

Congratulations to our Year 8 students on a successful Autumn term! We are extremely proud of everything they have achieved so far.

This term, we have celebrated football victories, planned an exciting Rubik’s Cube competition for the New Year, created subject-themed hats, decorated Christmas boxes, and collected donations for charity. It has been fantastic to see such enthusiasm and creativity across the year group.

We have also seen a significant improvement in homework engagement across Year 8 – well done to all students for their hard work and commitment. Our top-performing Sparx Maths students this term are:

Attendance continues to be strong, and we really appreciate your support in maintaining this. Please remember to download Studybugs (available via our website) to help us track attendance efficiently.

Finally, we are delighted to celebrate a high number of students achieving 100% attendance, including an impressive group who have done so alongside zero behaviour points – a truly outstanding achievement.

Please ensure that your child can access Sparx Maths and Sparx Science, both of which can be accessed through their school Microsoft login. Bedrock is also part of our weekly homework programme. If you or your child experience any issues logging in, please contact the school for support.
