Year 10 – Rising to the Challenge

This term, our Year 10 students have been working hard on one of the most challenging topics in the GCSE Chemistry curriculum – Electrolysis. This complex area of study requires a secure understanding of ionic compounds, electrical conductivity, and the processes involved in breaking down substances using electricity.

Despite its difficulty, students have shown excellent perseverance and curiosity, engaging fully in practical experiments and interactive Sparx Science tasks to strengthen their understanding. Their determination to master this demanding content is truly impressive and provides a strong foundation for success in their upcoming examinations
