The PE Department is immensely proud to celebrate a remarkable achievement by one of our students, Toju, who was provisionally selected to represent Tottenham Hotspur in their U19 UEFA Youth League knockout fixture against Real Betis in Spain. His involvement in preparations for such a prestigious European competition is a testament to his exceptional ability, dedication and commitment to football, both in school and at club level. His final inclusion in the squad, confirmed by Tottenham Hotspur, is an inspiring milestone and a shining example of what can be achieved through perseverance, ambition and passion for sport.

HRB students also enjoyed a fantastic day at the Slough Sports Network Bowling Competition. For many, this was their first experience of ten-pin bowling, yet they demonstrated excellent teamwork, enthusiasm and adaptability throughout. Their hard work paid off as they secured an impressive silver medal. The students represented the academy brilliantly and were a true credit to the school.

The Langley Cup returned this year, celebrating inclusive competition and providing students of all abilities with the opportunity to participate in inter-school sport. Our Year 7, 8 and 9 teams competed against Langley Grammar, Ditton Park and Al-Madini in a series of highly competitive and enjoyable fixtures.
Year 7 secured an excellent 2nd place in their first appearance, Year 8 earned a well-deserved 3rd place, and Year 9 delivered an outstanding performance to win their category and lift the trophy. Every team represented the academy with pride, teamwork and excellent sportsmanship.
