Announcements

Following a review this afternoon and in light of the on-going extreme temperatures the following arrangements will be in place for Thursday 25^th June 2026.

• The school day will finish at 12:40pm.
• Students should attend school with their equipment and books for the first four lessons of the day (Timetable Week A).
• Uniform Adjustments remain in place as communicated earlier this week.
  • Students can wear PE shorts / skorts with their white school shirt.  Students should not wear their PE tops as these absorb heat.  Guidance recommends a light shirt.
  • Students must be wearing shoes / trainers.  Flip flops and sliders are prohibited.
• Students will have an extended break (30 minutes) between lesson 2 and 3 and one additional hydration break.
• A full lunch service is available from 12:40pm.

We recognise that any disruption to learning is not ideal. However, in light of the current red weather warning, the health, safety and wellbeing of all students and staff must remain our absolute priority. These adjustments have been made to ensure that students can continue to learn safely while minimising risks associated with the extreme temperatures.  We will update parents / carers with arrangements for Friday 26^th June 2026 by 2:00pm tomorrow.
